Colour, material and personal expression.
A 3,500 sq. ft. residence where muted architectural surfaces meet mustard, orange, rose and emerald accents.
Vision & brief
At Jewel of India in Jaipur, this 3,500 sq. ft. residence places personal expression within a composed interior. The home moves between connected living and dining areas and bedrooms with distinct identities. Its sense of refinement comes from making room for colour and daily life, rather than treating the apartment as a uniform showpiece.
Design response
The design balances a shared visual language with the different moods of individual rooms. Neutral architectural surfaces allow the living spaces to remain connected, while furniture, artwork and colour establish smaller settings within them. Bedrooms adopt their own palettes without severing that connection. The result is a gradual change from social space to private retreat, rather than a succession of unrelated decorative schemes.
Material & detail
Timber, polished stone and softly layered light form the recurring foundation. Sculptural seating and orange accents give the living room energy; deep green panelling, rose textiles and tailored headboards bring a more intimate character to the bedrooms. Joinery and bedside lighting are composed as part of each room, not as afterthoughts. This is residential interior design expressed through proportion, contrast and the particular character of the people a home is made to accommodate.
