Goyal’s Residence brings together a strong horizontal frame, finely spaced vertical screens and a restrained palette of pale and dark surfaces.
Vision & brief
Goyal’s Residence in Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, brings a strongly composed street elevation together with interiors that are more tactile and personal. The project spans architecture and interior design, connecting the public identity of the home to the quieter experience of its rooms.
Design response
A screened upper opening sits within a pale rectangular frame, balanced by darker surfaces and a recessed entrance edge. The boundary and gates continue that contrast between solid planes and slender lines. Inside, changes in volume and furniture arrangement distinguish formal sitting, shared living and more private retreat. The design works through these transitions rather than relying on a single repeated motif.
Material & detail
Curved seating, warm timber backdrops, artwork and red accent chairs give the interiors a particular character. Layered light softens the more defined architectural surfaces. The exterior and interior language work together through proportion, material and carefully framed thresholds, allowing the home’s public presence to give way to a more personal domestic atmosphere.
