A home between two streets.
A family residence on a north- and east-facing corner plot in Hanumangarh.
Vision & brief
Baikunth in Hanumangarh is a family residence on a north- and east-facing corner plot. The architectural design addresses two street fronts, giving the home a composed public identity while introducing layers between the neighbourhood and domestic life.
Design response
The corner condition makes the relationship between openness and privacy especially important. Terraces and screens establish depth on both elevations, while planted edges bring a softer transition to the openings. Rather than treating the second frontage as secondary, the composition considers how the house is encountered from different directions.
Material & detail
Proportion and shadow bring the architectural elements together. The residence’s character emerges from sheltered edges, framed openings and planting rather than a single façade feature. Architecture and interiors form the project scope; its corner composition gives careful attention to the relationship between the home and both adjoining streets.
