Above the city.
A place to gather.
Mantra Rooftop brings dining, lounge seating and an intimate performance setting together beneath an open sky at Sanskar Prime.
Vision & brief
At Sanskar Prime on Ajmer Road, Jaipur, Mantra Rooftop is conceived around the shared experience of an evening outdoors. Dining, informal lounge groups and a small performance setting gather around a central court, with the open sky providing a common backdrop.
Design response
The design balances the collective focus of the stage with the more intimate scale of a table. Arrival arches and walkways establish a route into the court; timber canopies, curtains and fabric sails give different edges their own degree of shelter. Guests can remain connected to the activity while choosing a quieter or more social setting.
Material & detail
Teal upholstery, woven cane and timber are set against patterned paving and planted borders. Low lounge furniture contrasts with the more upright arrangement of the covered dining terrace. Pendant and practical lighting bring the spaces into focus after dark. Rather than relying on one dramatic feature, the rooftop builds its identity through a sequence of arrival, gathering and pause.
